Camping for caravans, tents and camper vans
With only three weeks to go before the first Manot Music and Arts Festival, taking place at the Village de Vacances in Manot, (16500) on 20th June, preparations are well underway.
The Village de Vacances has a campsite right on the doorstep of the festival, so if you want to really get into the festival spirit and camp ‘Glastonbury style’, you will need to book your space as soon as possible. According to their website, which shows 2014 prices, the tariffs are:
- Car and caravan – 7€ a night
- Car and tent – 5€ a night
- Camper van – 10€ a night
These prices may have increased slightly for 2015.
If you’d like to book a space, you can find out more information, including details of electrical hook-up, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or if you prefer, telephone 05 45 84 05 59.
The food will be provided by two independent food vendors.
Rowena Jeff will be at the festival with her very popular food stall – Mange Tout Restauration Rapide.
Rowena sells Burgers, Cheeseburgers, Chicken Burgers, Chicken Wraps, Chips and a Vegetarian option. Please click on the pdf menu below to see prices.
There will also be a pizza van provided by Aurelian. Again he will provide both meat and vegetarian options.
Both vendors will be at the festival all afternoon and all evening, so please pay them a visit.
Once the tea dance is underway, you will be able to sit and relax and enjoy the dance demonstration, whilst partaking of a delicious cream tea, served by Dee and Michael Bayly of Manot Ceramics. They will be serving the traditional scones, jam and cream, as well as a selection of cakes. And of course, you can also have a nice cup of tea or coffee to go with your afternoon tea….very civilised!
The bar will be open throughout the festival and will be selling wine, beer and soft drinks, as well as tea and coffee.
