With less than a week to go to the Music and Arts Festival in Manot (16500), it’s ‘all go’ for everyone involved. The musicians are busily practicing and perfecting their set list; the stallholders are putting the final touches to the arts and crafts they’ll be presenting; the dancers are ramping up for their performance and the tea dance and Sheila, from Portman Fitness is getting her demonstration ready.
It’s been non-stop for all of us with making sure posters are up and that the event is advertised in as many places as we can find. There is an article in Etcetera magazine and an article will be published in the Charente Libre later this week.
As well as the music and stallholders, there is also a bar, selling wine, beer and soft drinks. There are also two food vendors, selling burgers, chicken wraps and pizza.
If you want to find out more about the festival, please visit our website – www.manotmusique.com
We’re hoping for good weather, especially as we know that several people will be camping at the site on the night of the festival. If you have a tent, caravan or camper van, you too can stay over at the site, which means you don’t have to worry about having a beer – in fact, we actively encourage people to stay! Please visit our campsite page to find out how to book.
Finally, we look forward to meeting you all and we’re sure it’s going to be a spectacular day. We are unable to provide tables and chairs for everyone, so please feel free to bring your own, so you will be comfortable..and if it’s a hot day, don’t forget an umbrella and sun cream!
